Academy for Coaching 

1. Overview These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between the Academy for Coaching (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the participant (“you,” “your”) for enrollment in the Coach Certification Training Program. By enrolling, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

2. Eligibility

• • Participants must meet the prerequisites outlined in the program description, including educational or experiential requirements.

• • Participants must be at least 18 years old.

3. Enrollment and Fees

• • Payment of the full program fee or an agreed-upon deposit is required to secure your spot.

• • Payment plans may be available; terms will be outlined in the enrollment agreement.

• • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the cancellation policy.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• • Cancellations made within 3 days of enrollment and a minimum of 14 days prior to program start date are eligible for a full refund, provided no program materials have been accessed.

• • Cancellations made within 14 days of enrollment and a minimum of 14 days prior to program start date are eligible for a full refund less a $500 cancellation fee, provided no program materials have been accessed.

• • Cancellations after 14 days are non-refundable.

• • In the event of program cancellation by us, a full refund will be provided.

• • Transfers to a future program may be allowed at our discretion.

5. Program Requirements

• • Attendance: Participants are required to attend all scheduled sessions. Instructor must be notified of emergencies. All other exceptions must be approved in advance.
    

     

    • • Any missed classroom time must be reviewed with a summary submitted to demonstrate understanding and completion.
    • • Excessive absence will result in the need to repeat the program at participant’s expense.

• • Completion of Assignments: All assignments and assessments must be completed to receive certification.

• • Code of Conduct: Participants must maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.

6. Certification

• • Certification is awarded upon successful completion of all program requirements, including attendance, assignments, assessments, and adherence to ethical standards.

• • Certification does not guarantee employment or income.

7. Intellectual Property

• • All materials provided during the program are the intellectual property of the Academy for Coaching and are for personal use only.

• • Redistribution, reproduction, or unauthorized use of program materials is prohibited.

8. Confidentiality

• • Participants agree to maintain the confidentiality of fellow participants, including personal and professional information shared during the program.

• • Program recordings or transcripts are for internal use only and will not be shared without prior consent.

9. Liability

• • The Academy for Coaching is not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the application of skills learned during the program.

• • Participants assume full responsibility for their own well-being and that of their clients.

10. Privacy Policy

• • Personal data collected during enrollment and participation will be used solely for program administration and communication.

• • Data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

11. Dispute Resolution

• • Any disputes arising from participation in the program shall first be resolved through informal negotiation.

• • If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

12. Modification of Terms

• • We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.

13. Governing Law

• • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ohio/United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Acceptance of Terms By enrolling in the Coach Certification Training Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
